Archie Garga-Richardson founded the firm in 2004 and still fronts it; he studied business administration and finance at California State University, Fresno, and later took an accounting award through UCLA's Accountancy Extension Program, putting his own record at more than 24 years in financial accounting reporting and ten in taxation. The practice is licensed by the California Tax Education Council and says plainly that it does not provide services as CPAs or attorneys, working only within that authorized scope. Work is delivered remotely by default, with monthly in-person visits where a client wants them and some services by appointment. The client base is sole proprietors, self-employed people and small business owners, including S-corporations, C-corporations and other pass-through entities. Alongside income tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax and IRS representation, the firm handles estate and trust returns, accounting software selection, and notary work.

Garga-Richardson also founded scamFRAUDalert in 2005, a consumer advocacy platform on online fraud, and holds a registered US trademark on the name.
