Eric came to tax work by an unusual route: a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2003, then thirteen years running a small private practice, before a career change about five years ago sent him back to school for the Chartered Tax Professional and Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst designations. The practice is his, and it covers the financial side of a business end to end — entity formation for people who want to start one, bookkeeping, financial reporting and analysis, and returns from individual 1040s to 1120, 1120S and 1065 filings, with planning aimed at the following April. Bookkeeping runs on QuickBooks; he is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a certified QuickBooks Online expert. He puts his familiarity with the medical, insurance, aerospace, education and real estate sectors of the Sacramento region at the center of the work, and takes on both start-ups and long-established firms. A second location sits in West Roseville.
