Bookkeeping is the whole of the offering here, with the work framed around handing a clean set of books to the client's own CPA at tax time. Started in Irvine and extended nationwide in May 2021, the practice takes on weekly, monthly and quarterly closings — either working alongside an in-house accounting team or absorbing the entire workload. Clients tend to be small and mid-sized businesses running $1,000,000 to $20,000,000 in annual revenue. For most of them there are two sets of books, one for the company and one for the owner personally, each closed with its own financials. Where online banking access isn't available and scanning is awkward, a courier collects and returns paperwork at no charge. QuickBooks runs through much of the work: books get converted to it during a cleanup, payroll entries get logged in it, and client staff can be trained on it.
