A sizeable share of the work here is representation: responding to taxing authority notices, filing past-due returns, negotiating offers in compromise and installment agreements, seeking penalty abatement and innocent spouse relief, and handling liens, levies and trust fund recovery cases. Lacy Italiano, an enrolled agent and a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, founded the firm in 2009 and runs it as president.

The rest divides between preparation and books. Returns cover individuals, businesses, estates and trusts, and nonprofits, with California sales tax, payroll tax, business set-up and probate accountings alongside. Bookkeeping is led by a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and covers both QuickBooks Online and Desktop, from initial setup and cleanup through monthly reconciliations and reporting. Clients are asked to send account numbers and Social Security numbers through a secure portal rather than by email.
