George Ross came to accounting from the planning side: a Masters of Science in Financial Planning from San Diego State in 1998, a start as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities, then a second Masters in Accountancy in 2001 and a first public accounting job in 2003. He holds CPA, CFP and PFS credentials, the first two earned in 2005. His two partners are local. Makinzie Carreiro and Brenda Brown both took accounting degrees at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2015 and earned their CPA certificates in 2018; Brown graduated from Morro Bay High School and went through Cuesta College first.

The tax and accounting work runs from return preparation and planning to bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax returns, QuickBooks advice, new business formation, and appearing before the IRS or state agencies in an audit. Clients include partnerships, S-corporations, nonprofits, estates and trusts. Investment, retirement and estate planning are offered separately, with securities through Cetera Wealth Services.
