Peter J. Tansill, CPA

Two CPAs make up the practice, which trades as Tansill & Lund CPAs. Peter Tansill puts his time in tax and accounting at more than 25 years, working with individuals and small businesses on planning and preparation and, beyond the annual return, on litigation support, business valuation, due diligence, and the negotiation of acquisitions and sales. He studied accounting at San Diego State, came out of PwC, and sits on the board of Monterey Credit Union. Marcus Lund holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University and is an EY alum; he has served as controller to small businesses on the Monterey Peninsula and ran the month-end close for more than ten VC-backed startups at the same time.

Returns are prepared for individuals, businesses and fiduciaries, with tax questions taken year-round. The accounting side covers financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax filings.
