Founded in 1975, Redwitz has built its practice around a set of affiliated companies it calls Redwitz Business Solutions, so that alongside the traditional audit, financial statement, tax and fraud-detection work sit managed IT services through GDR Group, fractional CFO and controller support through Integra, and trustee services for health and welfare benefit plans through Trust Management Services. That last one is unusual for an accounting firm, and it covers the accounting, reporting and consulting side of plan trusts.

One clearly defined client group is professional service firms — medical and dental practices, law firms, architects, engineers and consultants — where the firm describes owners who are still billing their own time and have outgrown their capacity to handle the financial side. For those clients the work runs from tax filings and bookkeeping to QuickBooks consulting and cost allocation planning. International tax matters are handled through membership of AGN International, a network of CPA and advisory firms present in more than 90 countries.
