Trading as Clearview HOA Financial, the firm began in 1990 as a small bookkeeping practice in Telluride and now takes on homeowner associations and nothing else. The work covers the whole financial side of an association: GAAP fund accounting, budgeting, reporting and 1099s, reserve and capital planning, tax and insurance coordination, and the materials, elections and voting support an annual meeting needs. Dual-control safeguards are built in, and rather than replacing an association's existing bank setup or its community association manager, Clearview works alongside them. Anything not handled in-house is referred to outside firms. Each client is paired with a single account manager as their point of contact. The communities named are second-home associations and self-managed boards looking for tighter financial controls, along with property managers who want a third-party financial partner.
