Menke & Company CPA

Founded in 1990 as Ann M. Menke, CPA, PC, the practice now runs from two Iowa offices, Burlington and West Point, serving Southeast Iowa and the wider Midwest. Ann Menke is one of several CPA shareholders on a roster of more than thirty staff, which also includes a chief operating officer, an IT specialist and an HR director. Attest work is a substantial part of what the firm does: financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, agreed-upon procedures and tax credit examinations, with audit experience named in construction, grain dealers, ag-related industry and manufacturing, 401(k) plans, and nonprofits and foundations. Alongside that sit individual and business tax preparation and planning, including multi-state returns, estate and trust filings, and entity structure and succession work. A group of client accounting services associates handles bookkeeping, payroll and outsourced accounting with external CFO support, and the firm assists with QuickBooks. Clients are seen at either office or worked with remotely.
